What Is the 8 Ball Pool Mod Menu?
The mod menu is a small floating icon that appears on top of the game after you install the modified APK. Tap it and a panel opens with switches for each feature. Unlike older mods where everything was always on, a mod menu lets you choose exactly which features are active, so you can turn the long line on for practice and switch it off before a ranked match.
It is not an official Miniclip feature. The official game from Google Play has no menu, a short aiming guideline, and coins you earn by winning matches.
8 Ball Pool Mod Menu Features (Every Option Explained)
Long Line
Extends the aiming guideline so you can see where the cue ball and the object ball travel after contact, including bank shots off the cushion. This is the most-used option in the menu and the main reason people search for a mod menu.
All-Room Guidelines
In the official game, higher-stake rooms such as Berlin, Venice and beyond reduce or remove the guideline. This toggle keeps the guideline visible in every room.
Mega Hit
Increases shot power beyond the normal maximum of your cue. It is useful for break shots, but it is also one of the easiest behaviours for the server to notice, so use it carefully.
Cue Ball in Hand
Lets you place the cue ball anywhere on the table at the start of your turn, not only after an opponent’s foul. It works best in offline practice against the computer.
Auto Aim Toggle
Snaps your aim to the nearest pottable ball. Most players leave this off because it removes the fun of the shot, and it makes your play pattern look unnatural.
What the Mod Menu Cannot Do
Coins, cash and cues in 8 Ball Pool are stored on Miniclip’s servers. A mod menu changes what you see on your phone, not the numbers on the server. Any “unlimited coins” counter you see is visual only and disappears after you restart or join an online match. Be careful of sites or videos that promise real unlimited coins, a generator, or a “no key” menu that asks for your Miniclip login. Those are usually scams.
How to Download and Open the Mod Menu
- Uninstall the official 8 Ball Pool app (sign-in data cannot be shared between the two).
- Tap the download button on this page to get the v56.32.1 APK file.
- Open Settings > Apps > Special access > Install unknown apps and allow your browser or file manager.
- Open the downloaded APK and tap Install. If Play Protect warns you, read the scan report section on our home page before you continue.

Mod Menu Not Showing? Fixes
- No floating icon: go to Settings > Apps > 8 Ball Pool > Display over other apps and switch it on, then restart the game.
- Menu opens but features do nothing: you are probably running an older APK. Uninstall it, clear the download folder, and install v56.32.1.
- Game closes on launch: clear the app cache, free at least 300 MB of storage, and reinstall.
- “Update required” message: Miniclip has released a newer official version. Wait for the updated mod on this page instead of updating through the Play Store, which removes the menu.
Is the 8 Ball Pool Mod Menu Safe? Ban Risk Explained
There are two separate questions: is the file safe, and is your account safe.
