Enter the angle between the cue ball’s path and the line from the object ball to the pocket. The calculator tells you how full to hit the object ball.
How it works
The fraction of the object ball you cover equals 1 − sin(cut angle). A straight shot (0°) is a full ball, 30° is a half ball, and about 49° is a quarter ball. Read the aiming guide to use this in the game.
