8 Ball Pool Mod APK Not Installing: Fixes for “App Not Installed”

The 8 Ball Pool Mod APK usually fails to install because the official app is still installed, unknown sources are blocked, storage is full, the file is incomplete, or your Android version is below 6.0. Fix each cause in the order below.

Fixes

  1. Uninstall the official 8 Ball Pool first. Android cannot install an app over another with a different signature; this causes “App not installed”.
  2. Allow unknown apps: Settings > Apps > Special access > Install unknown apps > your browser or file manager > Allow.
  3. Free storage: keep at least 500 MB free; the APK is about 166 MB and needs extra space to install.
  4. Re-download the file: a broken download gives “There was a problem parsing the package”. Compare the SHA-256 hash with the one on our home page.
  5. Check Android version: current builds need Android 6.0 or higher. For older phones, try an older build from the old versions page.
  6. Play Protect warning: Google flags modified apps. Read our scan report before choosing to install anyway.

On PC

Use the latest BlueStacks or LDPlayer with Android 9 or newer. Drag the APK into the emulator window. Full steps: 8 Ball Pool Mod APK for PC.
